Kaffir Lily

The Kaffir Lily [Clivia miniata] is not a Lily, but rather a member of the Amaryllis family. It is a native of South Africa and was brought to England where it was named for Lady Charlotte Clive, Duchess of Northumberland by naturalist John Lindley.
